Baby Shower

a quick card as my friend will be coming around soon and I made it while trying to entertain Emily.

I used my favourite jumbo wheel “wash day” now retired.

The shower greeting is on the stamp above the umbrella but I put it underneath because I was going to frame it but changed my mind. simple and to the point and she is now on her way.

Birthday Card

I am going to a 3rd birthday party on the weekend for fairy princes and princesses – ok Alexander has been invited but I am taking him.

I was lost for a card to design. I am quite pleased with the card – it isn’t anything fantastic but I am happy. My dilemma was how to give the little girl fairy wings…

Fairy Birthday

So I grabbed my heartfelt thanks stamp set, used my stampin’ write markers, inked up a flower petal and stamped. Then coloured in with my pastels and blender pens. I thought it worked quite well. It’s not my best card but I am happy how the fairy worked out. *grin* I am just looking at the Family Accessories Too which are in the new catalogue which include a lovely little fairy crown.

I decorated the background with the butterflies stamp from sprinkles in versamark and pink pirouette.

It looked unbalanced with the Happy Birthday in the top left hand corner, so I stamped her name in the bottom right. I outlined the happy birthday with a frame from the hodgepodge set after using the crop-a-dile to punch holes and brads to hold it in place.

Card: Pink Pirouette
Ink: versamark, pink pirouette, basic black
stamp sets: All in the family, Heartfelt thanks, retired birthday set and simple serif mini alphabet, sprinkles
Accessories: Pastels, stampin’ write markers, Hodgepodge Hardware, crop-a-dile, Scallop circle
