From Go to Whoa (aka How to mount your stamps)

Mounting stamps with the new die cut stamps is really easy.

Everything comes in the stamp storage box. Pull out your die cut stamps and begin separating them. I find it best before I mount them to separate them all and check which stamp goes on which block to ensure I get the right sizes.

Once you have matched the stamps to their correct blocks, take off the baking paper and attach to the block in the position you want. You don’t have to put them in the middle, but you could put them to one side to help you when lining up stamping later.

You can trim the stamps closer if you like. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don’t.

Now times to put the labels on.

I try and match the label with the position of the stamp on the other side.

Now last but not least don’t forget to label the box

And now the card…. I {heart} heart is from the summer mini and it has a punch that coordinates with it.

I made this card for my husband’s birthday and then since I had the card stock already cut up I experimented with another one. I CASED ideas from the mini catalogue and also the ribbon weaving from Expressions – the stampin’ up magazine.
