Punches
This was the make and take at the stamping meeting and I can’t wait to try my own version of it… No stamps were used in the creation of this card
All you need is the scallop punch, scissors and the star punch oh and the word window punch for the tree trunk and voila!
Thanks Cass!
This week for the stamping meeting the theme was from the new catalogue. There were some great cards. Here is mine…
Card: Kiwi Kiss
Ink: Riding Hood Red, Versamark
Stamp Set: Great Friend
Accessories: Embossing Powder/Buddy/Trays, Head Gun, Stamp-ma-jig, earth elements designer paper
Technique: I stamped the butterfly on designer paper and cut it out so if you see the card, the wings stand up and it has colour on both sides. Perhaps I should have photographed it so you could see the butterfly flying. I also stamped the butterfly straight onto the card and mounted the cut out butterfly ontop.
I used the stamp-ma-jig so I could create a branch coming off the main stalk.
Someone else at the meeting had a similar idea to me..
Card: Whisper White, Pretty in Pink, Gable Green
Ink: Green Galore, Pixie Pink
Stamp Set: Great Friend
I love the silver sparkly antennas
Choo Choo
I love this year’s In Color colours and I have been enjoying mixing and matching them with each other and with other Stampin’ Up Colours.
I also love the spring mini and combining the colours and the new stamp sets has been lots of fun.
This is a card I have been working on. I have wanted a train stamp set for … well since I had a baby son and his first birthday was spent at the trains. Finally it is here!!!!
Card: Baja Breeze, Whisper White
Ink: Riding Hood Red, Tangerine Tango, Pacific Point; Basic Black
Stamp Set: Choo Choo; Right On Track Stampin’ Standard Wheel
Accessories: Stampin’ Around Standard Handle; Paper Snips; Stampin’ Dimensionals
Technique:
I rolled the Right on Track diagonally along the card (there is a Stampin’ Around Wheel Guide if one needs to or wants it straight but I didn’t mind if this wasn’t straight along the page)
I then stamped the carriages and engine in different colours, cut them out and used stampin’ dimensionals to place them along the track. I stamped one puff of smoke on the card and then layered the next two with stampin’ dimensinals.
Lots of fun..
Ooops I realised I never published this page… Here is something added to one of the carriages.
