Alexander and Emily

This is based on the scrapbooking layout in the mini catalogue for Fox and Friends. I used it to show different photos of Alexander and Emily over the last 15 months… can’t believe how much my two babies have grown up!!!

Here is a close up

and later on

I had fun making this layout. I used the photo corner punch to trim the edges of the photos and the card stock.
The letters are using the Timeless Type Junior Alphabet set for the Big Shot.
I stamped the animals from Fox & Friends and cut out and used stampin’ dimensionals.
I used the crop-a-dile to punch holes to place the brads in.

Happy Scrapbooking Month

May is scrapbooking month. Time to catch up on all those photographs you have been meaning to put into albums.

My cheeky moneky. These two pages use my favourite stamp set this month from the autumn mini – fox and friends.

I also love my big shot alphabet sizzlits which cut out the letters so beautifully for me!

6×6 scrapbook pages

I have a workshop this Saturday where they want to do a 6×6 scrapbook page so I have been thinking of ideas and going to brainstorm some more with Vanessa on Friday.  Thanks… 😉

Anyway I was looking at the Stampin’ Up workshop DVD and created (adapted) these two from ideas on there.  Even if I don’t use them I like what I have created showcasing my gorgeous husband and gorgeous son.  (no bias here!)

They are the same design just using different colours.

The first one used Green Galore, Real Red and Yoyo yellow card stock from the Bold Brights colection.

Using my watercolour joy stampin’ wheel with real red cartridge I rolled it up the 1″ strip of real red.

Using green galore and basic black I stamped the flowers as a border down the bottom.

I crumbled the yoyo yellow and using snail adehesive stuck everything down and stamped the title “heartfelt” across the top in green galore.

On whisper white card I stamped real read flowers with basic black two step stamping over the top.  One with a basic black middle, the other in green galore.  I cut them out and stuck them down with dimensionals.

The flower stamps are from the heartfelt thanks set.

The second layout was on brilliant blue, with real red and green galore.  I chose green and blue to match the photograph.

I chose a different flower from the heartfelt thanks set to create the border at the bottom, this time just stamping in brilliant blue.  The flowers cut out are also in brilliant blue and basic black.

The next card I made at my first stampin’ up workshop about 18 months ago.  I have only just put the photograph in it.
